The Website
http://webmastersedge.net/
The Webmaster’s Edge was founded to create an “all-encompassing” resource for the Webmaster of all skill levels. It will be a resource for finding Ad Networks, useful scripts, designing your site, doing ad placement, running a server, and brainstorming ideas to make money online. There are many resources available to Webmasters, but there are very few that are friendly enough for the average joe and even fewer that encompass as much as The Edge will.

The Blog
http://webmastersedge.net/home/
The Blog portion of The Edge contains discussion of Webmaster issues, news, reviews, and updates to The Edge. It is an outlet for my thoughts and a great place to keep updated on useful Webmaster information.

The Ad Network Listings
http://webmastersedge.net/ad_network_listings/
The Ad Network Listings are a list of Advertising Networks in a centralized directory. The listings are detailed with supported ad sizes, ratings, payouts, reviews, contact information, and other pertinent information. Finding the right Ad Networks for your site has never been easier!

The Webmaster Wiki
http://webmastersedge.net/webmaster_wiki/
While I give walkthroughs and information to help Webmasters on the Blog, a Blog really isn’t the greatest format for storing and organizing all of that data. So to make finding information easier and placing it all at your fingertips, as well as letting others help to grow the wealth of information on the site, I created the Wiki. The Wiki’s primary focus is information regarding design and server management, but will also branch off into other areas as it grows.

The Webmaster’s Edge Community Forums
http://webmastersedge.net/forums/
Building a community is important and while the Blog is a great place for doing so, sometimes users would like a better place to go off-topic and bring up issues not yet discussed. The Webmaster’s Edge Community Forums is that place!

About Me
My name is Bradford Liedel and I am in my thirties. I have been working in the field of Technical Support for 8+ years and am the Webmaster of the largest ISP Technical Support resource on the web, ModemHelp.Net. Over the years I have learned a great deal about Web Publishing through the creation of ModemHelp.Net. As with ModemHelp.Net, I have decided that there aren’t any resources available that have all of what I would have liked to have had while becoming a Webmaster. The goal of The Webmaster’s Edge is to provide that resource.

I was born, raised, and still live in Michigan. While the weather here is 99% unpredictable, I like the area and the variety it offers. I’m a laid back guy who’s interested in helping people. Technical Support has never offered great monetary rewards, but I find the job itself very rewarding. While I do plan for this site to eventually be my full time job, my reasons for creating it is to offer the help to others that I wish that I had.

I am married to the most wonderful woman in the world, Kathryn, and we celebrated our 6th year anniversary on 7/7/7 (we were going on our 7th year of marriage…where’s our lotto jackpot, eh?). I have two black cats, great friends, and am content with my life. I am a geek, I’ll be the first to admit it, and I enjoy playing video games. While I tend to drift from game to game, World of Warcraft has a bit of a stranglehold on me at the moment. :-)

My wife is a substitute teacher and is also a video game addict. We both enjoy playing WOW and our Wii together and her students tend to think of her as the “cool substitute”. She loves the outdoors and really enjoys landscaping. We went to Michigan State University together and met through mutual friends.

While my passions lie in helping people, computers, and video games, I’m also passionate about cooking, primarily grilling. Last year we bought a new grill and I’m hooked. I love to make marinades, soak the meat, and cook it up. While I will grill once in a great while during the Winter, I’m not a big fan of grilling in the cold, so Winter tends to be my least favorite time of the year. You’ll find that I will discuss my interests from time to time on the Blog and I hope that some of my marinades give you ideas to try out for yourself. :-)

YOU, The Reader
http://www.webmastersedge.net/
YOU are the most important part of this website. Without YOU I would have no reason to build and maintain this website. It is YOU that I have created this resource for and it is YOU who makes this site grow. I’d like to take a moment to thank YOU for visiting The Edge and for making it great. Thank YOU for visiting and thank YOU for returning in the future.
