While the “ShareThis” option is nice, in my personal experience I find the actual icons being at the bottom of a post to be more “eye-catching”. To add these, I downloaded the Social Bookmarking Reloaded Wordpress plugin. I may eliminate some from the list as it is a very long list, but haven’t decided which to ditch just yet. For now I’ll keep them all.
After setting this up, I signed up for Entrecard. This is a very interesting program and a great idea all around. Basically, you place a “card” on your website where other Bloggers can advertise with Entrecard credits. You can then place your ad on other’s blogs using these credits, either by earning them or purchasing them. It is basically a complex 125×125 banner exchange, but I have to say I’m impressed with the operation. I look forward to earning credits, dropping my card, and getting cards dropped!

I find the lack of a “will it blend?” option distressing.
