We’ve been without Internet service since Sunday morning, and the situation hasn’t improved. Today we woke up to no power in our home. I called the power company and they said we should expect it to be restored by tomorrow at 11pm. So I worked from BiggBy Coffee again today and was able to get a little ahead. I started post-dating some posts and setting up drafts for future use, just in case I am without power and/or internet for longer than expected. At this point I mostly hope the power is back on soon so that we don’t have to worry too much about our refrigerated goods.

Being without the Internet at home for a few days and with storms raging outside, we’ve been playing board games and listening to audio books. One of our favorite board games is Settlers of Catan. If you haven’t tried it, it is an excellent strategy game that I highly recommend.
