My mother stopped by for lunch today and we had a good time. Lunch ended up lasting a little longer than expected (putting me a little bit behind), but was nice to see her. I made Fajitas and we caught up on things. Lunch was good and I was happy to see her. Katie will be home a little late as she’s off to a “going away” party for a teacher she is friends with. I can’t remember for certain, but I think she’s going to teach in Alaska. Apparently the demand for teachers up there is really high, the pay is great, and it is way too cold for me to give any real consideration.
So I’ve knocked five things off the list that I posed earlier:
- Create Page: Advertise on the Edge
- Create Page: About the Edge
- Fix Search Bars
- Add Chitika Ads to page
- Post Privacy Policy
These were the most important items and really the only ones that I -needed- to get done before public release. Soo….the site is now public! It can be reached directly from the regular URL now and I’m ready to begin marketing the site. I’ll make a “The Webmaster’s Edge Is Live” post sometime between now and Monday. Once I’ve made this post I’ll also begin to market the website. I have a few options in mind and will be posting what it is that I do and how effective it is. This site will grow with its userbase and I plan to tell everyone how I make it grow. I plan to spend little to nothing on marketing the site at first so that you can see how to advertise your own site with little to no starting funds!
